PREPARATION TIME 60’
INGREDIENTS
- 500g Green Beans
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tsp coriander
- 2 tsp turmeric
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- Juice of 2-3 lemons
- Salt, pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- Rinse and drain the beans.
- Slice the onion into thin rings. Combine the beans in a large pot and add about 2 liters of water.
- Add the spices and simmer over medium heat for about 40 minutes. Toward the end of cooking, add the lemon juice, salt, and pepper, and cook for another 5-10 minutes.
- Finally, add the olive oil and bring to a boil. Serve with extra lemon, oregano, and a drizzle of raw olive oil on each plate.
