Ingredients
- 500g Pappardelle pasta
- 1 kg tomato sauce
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 container cream cheese
- 300g Anthotyro cheese (Greek soft cheese)
- 1 pinch thyme
- 1 pinch oregano
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt
- Freshly ground pepper
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2-3 fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- First, combine all the ingredients for the sauce (tomato, oil, garlic, and herbs) and let it boil for 10 minutes.
- Add the pappardelle pasta, lower the heat, and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper and add the grated anthotyro cheese.
- Mix well and sprinkle with a bit of fresh basil. Serve immediately!
